"What Eggs Are You Incubating?"

from Loralee Scott: We ended our last webinar session talking about dragons' eggs and the von Franz story about "sitting on eggs". This showed up in my FB feed the next morning! What eggs are you all incubating?
Love it, Synchronicity in the Feed! As for “What eggs are you incubating?”...
Here’s my first crack at an Orientational approach (pun intended) – An egg is inherently fragile, yet its shell is strong enough to protect a developing life. Here’s a scientific reference for the layers of the egg.
Within this reference are words like bloom, pores, defense, strong, space, white, layers, anchors, membranes, casings, and finally – emulsifier. When we finally get through the layers, deep enough to enter the yolk, we find it to be an effective emulsifier. A substance that stablilizes. prevents separation.
Hmm, that sounds an awful lot like Self, to me. So perhaps I’m incubating nothing less than Individuation!
